English 20-1 Blocks One and Three
We will start our poetry unit today with an overview of what poetry is and what it isn't. We will also review the importance of context. You will then be asked to create a poetry assignment around the words"....here to steal my future years away..." (you may fit it in anywhere and in any way you like, just make sure your poem is at least six lines long). We will then discuss some in class and look at how different contexts resulted in different poems.
English 30-1
We are going to finish watching the film from Thursday and take notes on reactions to authority. Remember; these will tie in to an essay somewhere down the line so focus. If you want to see what was expected, see last Thursday's blogger.
Social Studies 33
You were allowed additional time to work on assignments A-14 and A-15.
Your unit test on Democracy and Dictatorships will be on Monday, October 2.
