English 20-1 blocks one and three

Today is journal day. The question is under the overhead and will be pulled up when everyone is ready. This is a timed, 10 minute activity in which all students are to be writing. You do not have to write on topic, however.
You are going to get your first essay topic today and time to work on it. It will NOT be due until Friday, however, I expect an outline as well and I can't guarantee there won't be other assignments in the next couple of days. You are also going to recieve a green sheet (sample outline of an essay) which will be read as a class and an orange sheet (sample outline of an introductory paragraph) which will also be reviewed as a class.

English 30-1 block three

You are to answer the questions you recieved yesterday on the Stephen King essay. You are not to do question 14. Sorry about that. I should have removed it before handing them out. There is also another multiple choice essay (from Bruno Bettelheim: Three Ideas to Try in Madison, Minnesota) may be assigned if the class finishes early or if people are off task.
