English 20-1 blocks one and two

You will be given the class time today to work on your major poetry project. Remember that this is due on Tuesday. Call me (826-8931) if you are having trouble. I am also providing you with poetry terminology to use.

English 30-1 block two

You will be given the class time today to answer the paired questions for "The Shining Houses". Use your time wisely. This assignment must be handed in at the beginning of class on Tuesday.

Social Studies 33

Yesterday the students went over market economies. You are to hand in the questions I gave you at the beginning of class.

Today, we are going to examine the case study on the United States
You will review the boom and bust of the 1920’s and 1930’s (and boom and bust cycle itself)
You will watch the video BBC Boom and Bust
You will read the handout of A History of the Twentieth Century and do assignment A-28 AB and C. (Due Tuesday at the beginning of class)
Also, remember that you are filling in cue cards (using the terms glossary for this unit). This is an ongoing activity and that I will be marking at the end. It's not a lot of work as long as you fill them in everyday with the terms you have been presented with.
